The clearer the structure of the wire harness, the greater its automation potential– in the low-voltage sector, product design is the decisive factor. 

Our development is aimed at constructing complex wire harnesses in a modular manner, reducing the number of wires, and keeping material variations as low as possible – without compromising function or quality.

This targeted design-for-automation approach requires deep process understanding – and exactly this is one of our strong points: longstanding experience in automated serial manufacturing combined with close collaboration with component manufacturers. Another advantage: Thanks to our in-house software development, we can use simulation to evaluate automation potential right from the design phase. It is based on a comprehensive database that evaluates the automation potential of contacts and plug systems – based on cross-sections, color variants, and plug configurations. This allows us to make the right decisions for efficiency and quality early on.
