We don't just talk about climate protection – we demonstrate it in numbers. Our goal is to significantly reduce our CO2 emissions in every respect by 2030 – with clear targets, innovative technologies, and efficient processes.
Renewable energies, a low-emission supply chain, and smart transport management are important parameters in this respect. However, real change can only be achieved in concert: That's why we cooperate closely with our partners to drive sustainable solutions.
Our progress is transparent: We have our success documented, e.g. in the CDP and NQC ratings.
Reducing the CO2 Footprint:
Clear Targets as Measure of Success
By 2030, we want to significantly reduce CO2 emissions in all three scopes:
Scope 1 & 2: Reduction by 64%
Scope 3: Reduction by 33%
We embed these targets in our corporate processes and consistently integrate them into all areas. External experts and advanced software tools support us in precisely monitoring our progress. This allows us to counter irregularities quickly and in a targeted manner.
We take action. In concrete terms and with a clear purpose.
We work intensively on increasing the use of secondary raw materials and replacing ecologically critical materials with more sustainable alternatives.
Already today, around 24% of our self-developed plastic components are made from recycled materials – without compromising on safety and reliability.
In 2024, we commissioned our first photovoltaic system.
More systems are under construction or being planned.
By 2039, we aim to achieve 100% energy supply from renewable sources, adapted to country-specific conditions.
