BUILT-IN PROCESS LOGIC FOR ASPIRED ZERO DEFECTS

Defect-Free Production Starts in the System
To ensure the highest quality standards, errors in the production process must be detected early – or ideally – completely prevented. aPIMS supports this goal with targeted process interlocking based on the Poka-Yoke principle: sources of error are systematically eliminated throughout the process.

Routing as a Basis for Secure Processes
Digital routing is derived from the respective process flow diagram, which clearly defines the production sequence. This creates a digital twin of the production process in aPIMS, which only releases all subsequent steps if the sequence is correct.

Forced Control in Case of Irregularities
In the event of incorrect test results or incomplete work steps, the system logic takes over automatically. Further processing is only possible when all defined criteria are met. This ensures that defective or incomplete parts will not enter into the next process stage.

Flexibility Despite Standardization
Yet, the system remains flexible: Workstations can be individually configured so that different product and process variants can be quickly integrated – without any disruption to the process logic.
