Full Power for New Processes

After graduating from high school, like many others, I faced the big question: Which degree program is the right one for me, and what career opportunities will I have then? Ten years later, with an integrated degree program in electrical engineering and information technology, a master's degree, and some professional experience, I can say: Talent, passion for technology, and academic studies are relevant for professional development – but by no means are they the only decisive factors. A supportive corporate culture, a collegial environment, and self-motivation are at least as important for success.

Driving Innovation– on Small and Large Scale
Since August 2024, I have been leading a team in Industrial Engineering. New projects or simply the desire to make processes even better are what drives us. In concert with other departments, we elaborate new machine processes or take existing production systems to the next level.

What helps me enormously is that I can apply much of what I've previously learned in other fields as relevant here – whether it's technical know-how about high-voltage wire harnesses or experience from customized vehicle electrical system manufacturing. This accumulated knowledge pays off when it comes to not only developing ideas but also implementing them.
Nexans autoelectric has been at the forefront for years, especially in the area of process automation for wire harnesses – and I'm excited to be actively involved in ensuring that this continues.

Teamwork and Variety – How We Find Solutions Together
I find the interaction with colleagues from around the world especially interesting and enriching. Our production network is global and so I experience different perspectives, ways of working and cultures every day. Of course, sometimes there are challenges or tensions, but it is often these that allow us to progress. If we find a solution together, it is a real experience of success for me and the whole team.

I find the exchange with colleagues from all over the world particularly exciting and enriching. Our production network is global, and so I experience different perspectives, work approaches, and cultures every day. Of course, there are sometimes special challenges or points of friction, but that’s often precisely what drives us forward. When we find a solution together, it’s a true sense of achievement for me and the entire team.

My conclusion: Those who see challenges as opportunities and are given the chance to develop professionally can achieve a lot – in the company and for themselves personally.
