Assuming Responsibility, Gaining Trust
I have been working as a software developer at Nexans autoelectric since 2020. From day one, I was fully integrated into the team and took on my own projects. For example, I was responsible for the development and programming of our in-house applicant management platform "aCandi" from the very beginning.
A Dynamic Environment
With our in-house programmed applications, we cover the entire process chain of an automotive supplier – from project management and customer requests to production processes in our plants. The tools are precisely tailored to the needs of our employees and, of course, are consistently supported by the responsible programmer even after go-live. This allows us to remain as flexible as possible and implement necessary adjustments quickly. Our programs are dynamic projects that constantly evolve with the changing requirements of our customers, the needs of individual departments, and technical modifications.

Teamwork at its Best: Develop Together, Play Together
What I, as a junior software developer, particularly appreciate is the casual and friendly atmosphere within my department and the ongoing interaction with my colleagues. Our team is organized according to the Scrum methodology; we keep each other up to date through short daily meetings, allowing us to receive feedback or suggest solutions at any time – without any bias. This agile approach allows us to remain extremely dynamic and continuously learn. I really appreciate my work environment and feel like it allows me to unlock my full potential.
And after work? Playing some Schafkopf or Minecraft with my colleagues is always a good idea!
